- Serial number is required to determine date of manufacture
- The first digit after the letters of the serial# tells the year the unit was manufactured
- The 2nd and 3rd digits after the letters of the serial# tell the month of manufacture
- Example: Unit with serial# PE2110884 was manufactured November, 2002
